How do I register for VAT?

To file your VAT returns, you'll need to register for VAT on the Federal Tax Authority's (FTA) e-portal. The registration is simple, follow these steps to complete your registration:

1. Go to the VAT registration portal and create an account by clicking on Sign up.


2. Once you sign up, you will receive an email from the FTA to verify your details and activate your account. You can now log in to your FTA's account using your credentials.


3. From the Dashboard click on VAT101 Register for VAT.


4. Provide your information


5. Indicate the details of the business that you are registering


6. Enter the contact details.


7. Enter the banking details.


8. Optionally indicate the business relationships.


9. Indicate the information about the VAT registration such as your business activities.


10. Provide the declaration.
