Sending a payment receipt to the customer

After recording a payment on a sales invoice in Wafeq, you can send a payment receipt to the customer to confirm the amount received.

In this guide, we’ll walk through how to send the receipt by email or WhatsApp, step by step.

Steps to Send an payment receipt to the Customer

Go to "Sales" from the main menu, then click on "Sales Invoices".
Make sure the view is set to "Table", then click on the invoice you want to send to the customer.

Sending via Email

After clicking the "Send" button, make sure the active tab is "Send by Email".

Customize the message using plain text along with placeholders that reflect data stored in your account, then click "Send by Email".

Sending via WhatsApp

After clicking the "Send" button, make sure the active tab is "Send by WhatsApp".
Customize the message text, then click "Send by WhatsApp".

You’ll be redirected to the WhatsApp app or WhatsApp Web, where you can select the customer’s contact and send them the message.
