How to transfer products from one warehouse to another?

You can transfer a quantity of a specific product (item) from one warehouse to another by creating an inventory transfer transaction, which helps you track quantities accurately in each warehouse.

Steps to transfer products between warehouses

1. From the main menu, click "Products & Services" and then select "Inventory Adjustments".

2. In a new line, add a reference (optional), and enter the date and currency.

3. In the "Warehouse" field, select the warehouse you want to transfer the quantity from.

4. Select the product to be transferred.

5. In the Item Description field, add a note such as “Inventory Transfer.”

6. Enter the quantity as a negative number in the Quantity -/+ field, since you are moving it out of this warehouse (for example, -10).

7. Enter the inventory value also as a negative number. For example, if the unit price is 10 SAR, the value will be -100 SAR.

8. In the "Account" field, select the warehouse you want to transfer the quantity to.

9. After entering all data, make sure to change the status to "Posted".
