English Template (1).pngThe Inventory Movement Report displays all stock movements that occurred for your products during a specific time period, whether they are:

  • Inbound movements: such as purchases, customer returns, or transfers received from another warehouse or branch.

  • Outbound movements: such as sales, damaged or expired items, or transfers sent out to another location.

 

Why Is This Report Important?

The Inventory Movement Report helps you:

  • Track stock flow accurately: by identifying the quantities moving in and out for each item.

  • Analyze item activity: Is the product selling frequently? Is it stagnant?

  • Monitor costs: by tracking both quantity and unit cost per movement.

  • support Stocktaking: by comparing recorded data with actual physical movements.

 

Reports Interface Details

The Reports interface has been redesigned with greater accuracy and organization to provide a more efficient and flexible reporting experience, making it easier to access, review, and analyze your business data based on your operational needs.

Available Features in the Reports Interface:

  • Pin Reports Feature:
    You can pin your most important or frequently used reports by clicking on the “Pin” option, allowing them to appear at the top of the Reports page for quicker access without needing to search through all reports each time. You can also unpin reports at any time by clicking the same option again.
  • Summary or Detailed View:
    When selecting a report, you can choose how you would like the data to be displayed:

    1 - Summary View to display key information such as accounts and amounts.

    2 - Detailed View to access more in-depth information such as customers, notes, or any additional details added to your transactions.
    This feature helps you analyze your data with the level of detail that best suits your needs.

  • Reports Categorization:
    Reports are organized into clear categories to help you quickly find the right report based on the type of information you need, such as reports related to cost centers, projects, and other classifications.
    This organization saves time and effort while providing more accurate and structured reporting insights.
     

 

 

How to View and Understand the Inventory Movement Report in Wafeq?

To access the report, go to the “Reports” section from the main menu, then click on “Inventory Movement Report” under the “Inventory” category.

The report displays all inventory movements, including the type of movement, product name and code, quantity moved, and unit cost.

 

Available Actions You Can Take:

  • Customize Columns: Show or hide columns based on the type of information you want to focus on.

  • Add Filter: Narrow down results by certain fields, such as product or date range.

  • Export: You can export the report as an Excel or PDF file for further analysis or sharing.

 

What’s the Difference Between Inventory Movement and Inventory Stocktaking Reports?

  • The Inventory Movement Report shows how stock has changed over time.

  • The Inventory Stocktaking Report displays the current quantity of stock at a specific moment in time.
