Answers to common questions about signing in to the Wafeq e-invoicing ASP portal. For the full setup steps, refer to Wafeq E-Invoicing ASP Portal: Getting Started and Connecting Businesses (UAE).
Where do I access the ASP portal?
Go to einvoicing.wafeq.com.
What is the difference between "Developer portal" and "Taxpayer account"?
- Developer portal: for organizations (businesses, accounting firms and software platforms) that connect taxpayers, import files and manage integrations. You sign in with your Wafeq account.
- Taxpayer account: for a business that is already connected to Wafeq and wants to view its e-invoices and connected apps. You sign in with the email registered with the FTA in EmaraTax, using an emailed sign-in link. There is no password.
Can I use my Wafeq Accounting login for the Developer portal?
Yes. The Developer portal uses the same Wafeq account.
I chose "Taxpayer account" but I want to set up my organization. What should I do?
Go back to the login page and choose "Developer portal". "Taxpayer account" is only for businesses that are already connected to Wafeq.
I didn’t receive the taxpayer sign-in link. What should I do?
Make sure you entered the email registered with the FTA in EmaraTax and check your spam folder. The link expires after 15 minutes. If your business was onboarded in Live, switch to Live before you sign in to a taxpayer account. If your EmaraTax email has changed, choose Reverify for Wafeq FZ LLC in EmaraTax.
What is the difference between Sandbox and Live?
Sandbox is a free test environment: nothing is sent to the FTA or the Peppol network, and it needs no subscription. Live is where real e-invoices are sent and reported, and it requires a paid subscription. The two environments are completely separate.
Can I add team members or create more than one organization?
Yes. Invite colleagues from Settings > Members. Accounting firms and IT companies can also create a separate organization for each client from the account menu.
Is the portal available in Arabic?
The portal is currently available in English only.
