Once a sales invoice is created or finalized in Wafeq, you can send it to the customer using multiple channels such as email or WhatsApp.
In this guide, we walk you through the sending steps step-by-step, whether you're sending the invoice right after creating it or at any point later after it's been saved or finalized.
Steps to Send an Invoice to the Customer
Go to "Sales" from the main menu, then click on "Sales Invoices".
Make sure the view is set to "Table", then click on the invoice you want to send to the customer.
Click the "Send" button.
Sending via Email
After clicking the "Send" button, make sure the active tab is "Send by Email".
Customize the message using plain text along with placeholders that reflect data stored in your account, then click "Send by Email".
The email will then be delivered to the customer immediately, as shown below.
Sending via WhatsApp
After clicking the "Send" button, make sure the active tab is "Send by WhatsApp".
Customize the message text, then click "Send by WhatsApp".
You’ll be redirected to the WhatsApp app or WhatsApp Web, where you can select the customer’s contact and send them the message.
Sending immediately after finalizing the invoice
You can also send the invoice right after finalizing it. A confirmation message will appear directing you to send it click "Send by Email", or click the arrow next to the button and choose "Send by WhatsApp", then follow the same steps as above.
