English Template (1).pngSheet view offers a fast, Excel-like way to manage data faster. It’s available on most screens like purchase bills, expenses, items, and fixed assets.

You can quickly add multiple entries, edit fields directly, copy and fill values across rows, or paste data from external sheets, all in one place.

Accessing Sheet View

Go to the screen you want—like Expenses in this example—and click the "Sheet" button at the top of the page

Row actions in Sheet View

In Wafeq’s Sheet View, you can right-click on any row to access a menu of quick actions:

  • Insert Row Above / Below: Add a new row before or after the selected one.

  • Get Shareable Link: Generate a direct link to share the row with others.

  • Delete Row: Remove the row entirely.

Bulk Actions

You can select multiple rows in Sheet View to perform actions on all of them at once.

  • Insert Rows Above / Below:
Once you've selected multiple rows, you can insert the same number of new rows above or below.
Useful when you want to add several entries at a specific location in one go.

  • Delete Multiple Rows:
Quickly remove a group of rows in one step, instead of deleting them one by one.

Selecting Fields

Selecting cells is the first step to use autofill and other Sheet View features.
To select, click on a cell and drag toward the next one you want to include, then stop when you're done.

Autofill Fields

The autofill feature lets you quickly apply the same value across multiple cells without manual repetition.
Just select the cells you want to copy, move your cursor to the corner of the last selected cell, then drag toward the cells you want to fill.

You can autofill a single field, an entire row, or part of a row.

Controlling Date Autofill

If you enter or paste a date manually into a cell, then use autofill, the same date will be repeated across all rows just like any regular field.

However, if you use the dropdown menu that appears when filling a date field, Wafeq treats it as a time-based sequence and generates consecutive dates automatically based on the pattern you choose.

Available Date Patterns
When using the autofill menu, you can choose from the following options:

  • Fill Days: Add one day per row

  • Fill Weeks: Add one week per row

  • Fill Months: Add one month per row

  • Fill Quarters: Add one quarter per row

  • Fill Years: Add one year per row

When to Use It

  • To record recurring entries with different dates

  • To create scheduled records without manual edits

  • To reduce errors when working with regular date intervals

Copying Data from an External Source

If you already have data prepared in an external file—such as Google Sheets or Excel—you can copy and paste it directly into Wafeq’s Sheet View to save time on manual entry.

Open the external sheet, select the cells you want to copy,
then press Ctrl + C to copy the data.

Then press Ctrl + V to paste.
