We’d like to request a feature where, upon uploading an invoice, the software automatically extracts the relevant information from the fields and populates them accordingly.

Hi Manhoor, this is already available. When you upload a PDF or an image to a Bill or Cash Expense, the software will extract the details.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm Denis, a product manager here at Wafeq.
I just reviewed your support ticket. What happens is that if you're editing an already created bill or cash-expense, we will not extract anything else. The rationale was to not erase anything that was inputted by the user, but from your example I see this is the wrong behavior.
We'll add it to our roadmap. I'll get back to you shortly on this.

I'm also curious of something. If some of the fields are already present (for example: the bill number), would you rather have Wafeq:
- Overriding the existing value when you upload the attachment?
- Not filling if the value is already there?
- Ask you if you want to replace existing values?

Denis Gence basically we are importing excel file to enter the bills / cash expenses in wafeq
but for their proof we want to attach their invoices to the bills
and we want wafeq to automatically take out the info which isnt there or not imported from the sheet and read the bill amount and overwrite the exact one from the invoice
